This recipe comes to us from Jasmin in North Bay, who shared this twist on a banana and peanut butter favourite.

While Jasmin’s mom cuts the banana for her, she prepares the filling for this tasty treat.

Banana

1

Peanut butter

1 Tbsp (15 mL)

Honey

1 Tbsp (15 mL)

Bran cereal clusters

1 Tbsp (15 mL)

  1. Wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Clean all countertops and equipment used for food preparation.

  2. Gently rinse banana under cool running water.

  3. Peel banana and cut a small wedge out of it to create a boat shape.

  4. In a small bowl, mash banana wedge and add peanut butter, honey and bran.

  5. Spread into banana boat and sprinkle with raisins if using.
