Joshua's Wild Dragon Boar is an honourable mention in our 2013 Foodimal Contest!
Joshua, age 10, from Fergus, Ontario, says the Wild Dragon Boar lives in the Amazon Jungle. And if you do ever visit the Amazon, BEWARE! The Wild Dragon Boar eats everything in sight! It walks on its sharp, claw-like feet. These help him climb and search for food. He is dangerous and very hard to catch since he can eat its way out of all traps. The female Wild Dragon Boar gives birth only once but to ten babies at a time. The babies are small, soft and pink when born but quickly grow their spiky hide. They will weigh up to 85 pounds when fully grown and will live about 65 years.
Joshua used a dragonfruit because he wanted to know what it tasted like and was excited to eat his Wild Dragon Boar when he was done.
How to make a Wild Dragon Boar:
You will need:
Cut the grapes in half to make the eyebrows. Fasten the remaining grape with a toothpick to the dragonfruit to make the nose.
Fasten the raisins to the dragonfruit to make nostrils and eyes.
Place 16 toothpicks under the dragonfruit to make claws.
