Kids Recipe Challenge winning recipe 2011 – 3rd place!

Category: After school snacks, grades 1-3

Rochelle, from Whitefish, says kids will love this recipe because it is a combination that is delicious and colourful. You can change the flavours by changing the yogurt and juice you use each time you make it.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 8

  1. Smooth Option: Combine yogurt, juice and fruit in blender and puree until smooth. Pour into plastic cups and continue with recipe.
  2. Use any of your favourite fruit like chopped oranges, bananas, apples or pears to add a different texture and flavour to your pops.
  3. Look for 175 mL (5 oz) Dixie cups in your local grocery store. Craft sticks make strong handles for popsicles and are available at dollar stores and craft stores.

Mixed berries, fresh or frozen  1 cup (250 mL)
