Tips

  1. When fresh cherries are in season, be sure to top off your special banana split with a couple.

Ingredients

Mixed fresh or frozen berries

1 cup (250 mL)

Banana

1

Plain 1% Greek yogurt

1 cup (250 mL)

Granola

1/2 cup (125 mL)

Pure maple syrup

1 tsp (5 mL) 

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Clean all countertops and equipment used for food preparation.      

  2. Gently rinse fresh berries (if using) and banana under cool running water. Peel banana and slice in half lengthwise.  

  3. Take 2 long narrow bowls or dishes. Place half the banana in one dish and the other half in another dish.  

  4. Top each banana with yogurt. Sprinkle with granola and berries. 

  5. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve.
