Liam, from London, likes these crispy kale chips. It’s a fun way to enjoy this tasty green. Change up the flavours and get creative with spices!

Makes: 4 cups (1 L)

These chips are tasty on their own as a snack but you can also add them to other salads or soups for added crunch.
Ingredients

Bunch, fresh kale |

Fresh lemon juice |
2 Tbsp (30 mL)

Extra virgin olive oil |
1 Tbsp (15 mL)

Grated Parmesan cheese |
1 Tbsp (15 mL)
|
Salt |
1/4 Tsp (1 mL)

PInch fresh ground pepper |

Directions

Cut stem out of kale leaves and cut leaves into bite size pieces; place in a large bowl.

Drizzle with lemon juice and oil.

Sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper. Toss well with your hands to coat evenly.

Spread kale leaves over parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake in preheated 250°F (121°C) oven for about 25 minutes or until crispy and brown.
